The planned total area of Wuxi Xishan National Modern Agriculture Industrial Park is 48.5 square kilometers, with a core area of 12 square kilometers. It was founded in 2006 and was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the National Taiwan Affairs Office as the first Taiwanese farmer entrepreneurship park in Jiangsu Province in 2008. In 2020, it was officially awarded as the first national level modern agriculture industrial park in southern Jiangsu. In 2022, the total output value of Xishan Agricultural Park exceeded 4.5 billion yuan, with leading industries accounting for 85.4%& Nbsp& Nbsp; At present, there are a number of key agricultural carriers and engineering projects in the park, including a modern agricultural technology service center, a Huinong seed and seedling breeding base, and a seed and seedling breeding exhibition center. We have cooperated with 13 scientific research institutes such as Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Zhejiang University, forming a comprehensive industrial chain that integrates the research and development, breeding, processing and transformation of high-quality rice and vegetable, flower and horticultural crop seed and seedling leading industries, Established a nationally influential southern yew seedling breeding base, hydrangea seedling introduction and breeding base, and a more advanced horticultural crop seedling introduction and breeding base in China. A total of 186 agricultural enterprises have been settled, including 2 foreign-funded enterprises, 5 Taiwanese funded enterprises, 1 academician workstation, 1 postdoctoral workstation, 1 national agricultural enterprise incubation platform, 111 new varieties and 42 new technologies introduced and developed, 53 scientific and technological achievements transformed, and 54 national patents applied.
